August is always a good month for movie releases. Each week a new movie comes out and the competition is hot. There are no less than 40 studio releases in this month alone. Some did well and some are very forgettable!
A few of the good ones are:
Mummy 3 with the dreamy Brandon Frazier and the dangerous Jet Li. It has lots of action and lots of funny stuff from Brandon Frazier. It’s not great but it is entertaining. Swing Vote with Kevin Costner, Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Hopper, Nathan Lane, and Stanley Tucci. It is a good concept but too much over acting! It is kind of topical because of the presidential election. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 is about a group of girls growing up together it is really good but it is a classic chick flick. It is a good movie and be sure to bring a box of tissues.

These movies will probably be out in DVD really soon so be sure the check them out.
What good movies did you see this month? Will you watch these ones?
